NLCS Brewers Schedule: Pennant Won, World Series Next
If you are looking for the NLCS Brewers schedule, there are no NLCS games left. The Milwaukee Brewers (103-59) won the National League pennant and are in the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays (98-64). Game 1 is Friday, October 23 at 8:00 PM ET on Fox at American Family Field in Milwaukee. The rest of this page has the World Series dates and TV, how the Rays got here, and what to keep an eye on before Friday.
The Brewers' World Series schedule
These are the first four games of the series. All times are Eastern, and every game is on Fox.
| Game | Date | Time (ET) | Matchup | Ballpark | TV |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Game 1 | Fri, Oct 23 | 8:00 PM | Rays at Brewers | American Family Field | Fox |
| Game 2 | Sat, Oct 24 | 8:00 PM | Rays at Brewers | American Family Field | Fox |
| Game 3 | Mon, Oct 26 | 8:00 PM | Brewers at Rays | Tropicana Field | Fox |
| Game 4 | Tue, Oct 27 | 8:00 PM | Brewers at Rays | Tropicana Field | Fox |
A few things stand out:
- Milwaukee opens at home. Games 1 and 2 are at American Family Field.
- No game on Sunday, October 25. The schedule skips from Saturday in Milwaukee to Monday in St. Petersburg, so the teams have a day to travel.
- Every game starts at 8:00 PM ET. In Milwaukee that's 7:00 PM local time, so if you're watching in Wisconsin, plan for 7.
- The World Series is best-of-seven. The first team to four wins takes it. The schedule we have lists only the first four games. Check back for the later dates once the series reaches them.
What happened to the NLCS
For a Brewers fan the NLCS is over, and over the right way. Our earlier article, NLDS Schedule Is Done: NLCS Dates, Times and TV, covered the move from the Division Series to the League Championship Series. If you want to go back a round further, ALDS and NLDS 2026: Schedule, TV and Matchups has the Division Series.
Now the next opponent comes from the other league, and the team on the other side is settled as of last night.
How the Rays got here
Tampa Bay won the ALCS over the Cleveland Guardians (85-77), four games to two. They closed it out in the last two games:
| Game | Date | Result | Ballpark | Series |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ALCS Game 5 | Sun, Oct 18 | TB 3, CLE 1 - Final | Progressive Field | TB leads 3-2 |
| ALCS Game 6 | Mon, Oct 19 | TB 7, CLE 3 - Final | Tropicana Field | TB wins 4-2 |
The Rays won a tight Game 5 in Cleveland, then went home and scored seven in Game 6 to take the pennant. Game 6 was Monday night and Game 1 of the World Series is Friday, so they get three days off before the trip to Milwaukee.
The records side by side
- Milwaukee Brewers: 103-59 in the regular season
- Tampa Bay Rays: 98-64 in the regular season
Both teams won close to 100 games. The Brewers finished five wins ahead of the Rays, and they host the first two games.
Planning your week around the series
Friday and Saturday: Milwaukee
Games 1 and 2 are on back-to-back nights at American Family Field, both at 8:00 PM ET on Fox. If you're going to the ballpark, these are the two home dates on the schedule so far.
Sunday: off
There's no game on October 25.
Monday and Tuesday: St. Petersburg
Games 3 and 4 move to Tropicana Field, again at 8:00 PM ET on Fox. These are weeknight games. An 8 PM Eastern start is 7 PM in Milwaukee, so most fans in Wisconsin will see the first pitch before a late dinner. A long game can still run late into the night.
Probable starters
The schedule doesn't list probable starting pitchers for the World Series yet. Teams usually announce them a day or two before each game, so check close to first pitch.
Following the World Series on GridTicker
GridTicker is a live ticker that runs in a browser on a spare screen, a second monitor or a TV. It can follow this series for you all week.
- The bracket. Baseball's postseason bracket is double-sided: the American League comes in from the left, the National League from the right, and the World Series sits in the middle. Above it is a box that holds the champion once there is one. Once a series is decided, the winner's name turns green and the loser's red, so you can trace Milwaukee's path to the middle. The bracket comes with a league's standings tables, and those are off until you pick them. To get it, tick MLB under Standings. The guide's bracket section has the details.
- Games still to come. Before each game, the strip shows the start time, the channel and, in baseball, each side's probable starting pitcher with his record and ERA, once there is one. The Upcoming reaches setting under What to show controls how far ahead the strip looks. It can show today only or reach up to two weeks out, so you can see Friday's game from today.
- The round and the series score. In the playoffs, each game shows its round under the clock and, in a series, how the series stands.
- Brewers first. Star the Brewers under Favorites and turn on Favorites first, and Milwaukee comes ahead of the rest of the league on the strip. With Records on, each team's win-loss record appears beside its name on a game still to come.
- The big moments. When a team scores, the play gets a moment of its own on the strip with the scorer's name. That covers runs, home runs and grand slams in baseball.
- Evenings only. Under General you can set hours for each ticker, so sports can come on in the evening for first pitch.
GridTicker gets its scores from public sports data providers, which can run a little behind the broadcast. It runs in any modern browser, and there is nothing to install.
