Tips for keeping up with postseason start times
- Read times as Eastern. National schedules give times in ET. If you're farther west, convert them before you plan your evening.
- Check both channels. Every ALDS and ALCS game in this schedule is on both TBS and truTV.
- Remember the "CLE/CHW" placeholder. ALCS listings show the AL Central opponent as CLE/CHW until Saturday's game is decided. The times won't change, but the team name will.
Following Game 5 on GridTicker
GridTicker is a broadcast ticker that runs in any browser, so you can keep it on a second monitor or a TV through Saturday night. Before first pitch, the game shows its start time and channel. Under What to show on the Sports settings page, Upcoming reaches sets how many days ahead the strip looks, so you can see Saturday's game on Friday (guide). Postseason games show their round and the series standing under the clock, such as "ALDS - Game 3." Once Game 5 starts, a baseball row shows the runners on base, the outs, the count, the batter and the pitcher.
If you turn on MLB under Standings, you also get the postseason bracket. It's double-sided, with the American League on the left, the National League on the right and the World Series in the middle. A team that has been eliminated is dimmed (guide). To keep one team's games at the front of the strip, star it under Favorites and leave Favorites first on.
